Soprano Isabelle Peters is currently studying in her fourth year of undergraduate study at the Royal Northern College of Music, under the tutelage of Deborah Rees.
During her time at the college Isabelle has appeared in numerous projects such as the RNCM Opera chorus of Shostakovich’s Cheryomuski, RNCM Day of Song and RNCM Opera Excerpts. Her RNCM Opera Excerpts roles include Tatyana in Tchaicovsky’s Eugene Onegin and Laetitia in Menotti’s The Old maid and The Thief. Her solo performances for the college include her involvement in Mise en Scène and RNCM Big Band Take the ‘A’ Train. In addition to this Isabelle has also appeared in the Classic Fest Opera Co. Chorus’ in Lehár’s The Merry Widow, at the Buxton Opera Festival.
Isabelle recently made her professional theatre debut at the Royal Exchange Theatre, Manchester, where her “angelic-voiced” (Upstaged Manchester) Rapunzel in Matthew Xia’s Into the Woods was received with great warmth.
Isabelle looks forward to embarking on her Masters at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in September.
